On the road with... Meet our team

Reid Anderton

Reid Anderton spends most of his time hanging out with his family, riding his bike and making a living within the building industry. He is the father of three girls Sierra (6), Rylee (4) and Jada (2). For the past 17 years he has worked both in Zambia and Australia helping to establish the not-for-profit Eagles Wings. Having not found any smarter ways to raise funds for this charity he rides his bike a long way hoping that people will have empathy for the pain and donate.

Nat Campbell

Nat Campbell first got involved with Eagles Wings on a Building Team to Zambia back in 2010, little did she know how crazy the next few years would be! Since then, she’s been involved with Board of EW Australia, been back to Zambia with building teams and the annual Kids Camp, bought a bike and been for a few big bike rides! Nat is a keen traveler and subscribes to the "over prepare, then go with the flow" theory. She is keen to hear stories of simplicity and see the impact of this ride on both the challenge participants and the students at Eagles Wings. She's also pretty excited about travelling through Canada!

Matt Lavender

Matt Lavender is Brisbane born and bred, but now lives in Christchurch, NZ with his wife Kirsten and their three children. Having been involved in three previous Challenge For Change events either on the Support Crew or helping with drone footage, he is excited for what's ahead with the Canada Challenge and looks forward to working alongside the great team involved.

Dan Brown

Dan Brown has been involved with Eagles Wings and Challenge for Change since 2010. In that time he has cycled, supported or led events across and around Australia, New Zealand and Africa, most of them following Reid's crazy ideas! He is very much looking forward doing it all again, not just because of the opportunity to see Canada in a very unique way, or to watch Reid suffer, but to see the impact that we can have on a small community in Africa who are very much less fortunate than ourselves.

GRAHAM HEDGES

Graham Hedges has been a key part of the Eagles Wings and Challenge for Change teams since 2009. Graham is a police officer, who enjoys his coffee and driving long distances. When Hedgy agreed to join the Canada Challenge team, we knew the event was a go-er!

Mike Quinlisk

Mike Quinlisk is a newcomer to the Eagles Wings organization although he has been on several construction trips to Africa with other programs. He is currently a field service engineer working in the eastern side of the United States by day and a volunteer firefighter by night. He is thrilled to be a part of the Canada Challenge team and is looking forward to having a positive impact on the future of the community in Zambia.

Glennis Enkelmann

Glennis Enkelmann

Glennis Enkelmann's first involvement with Eagles Wings was as a member of the support crew for a challenge 4 change ride in Tasmania in 2012. She then participated in a building team trip to Eagles Wings school in Ndola, Zambia in 2013. Glennis lives in Brisbane with her husband David, has two married daughters and 3 grandchildren. She is excited about the upcoming Canadian challenge but is nervous about fatigue (her's, not Reid's)!
